Our mission with The Foundation for Greater Opportunities in Learning is to provide opportunities and resources which allow children and adolescents to become successful learners. The Foundation places special emphasis on the educational development of children and adolescents in at-risk circumstances.

| The Literacy Project at Edelman's Children's Court provides many literacy related activities while children wait for their court appearance. Special guests have included Dave Kinnoin, Kathryn Hewitt, and Jim Lewis. |
| In Los Angeles County alone there are over 25,000 children in the foster care system. A mentor/tutor relationship provides the support needed to bring the learning goals of these children to fruition. |
